# prominentalex : So I have an engine with low horsepower however it is really fast. The cars weight is average. Is there anyway of slowing the car down with out affecting horsepower or weight? I tried editing the inertia on the crankshaft hoping it'd slow it down with no success. Thanks in advanced! Try making the gearing worse (taller gears for less acceleration)? Also, make sure that the torque curve is similar to what you actually want. If the engine is developing lots of torque, especially at low RPM, it'll probably accelerate faster.
